Come Shopping With Me!

I went shopping yesterday for work (corporate) dresses, I desperately need some new items (ok, so maybe ‘desperately’ is a slight exaggeration – I would just ‘like’ some new pieces).

Often I do a little reconnaissance online before I head to the stores. Yes, that’s right, reconnaissance: “military observation of a region to locate an enemy or ascertain strategic features”. Shopping is no joke these days. Stuff gets real when you’re there… a hundred stores, a thousand dresses, a million sales – a girl needs to go into battle prepared!

Yesterday I wasn’t. I dashed in on my way to the dentist, hoping to fluke some amazing new outfit in less than 20 minutes. I came across three dresses I think I like, but was caught so off guard that I couldn’t decide! I don’t know what’s wrong with me – usually I have no problem pulling the trigger when it comes to shopping! (Are you enjoying all my military terminology today?)

So this is where YOU come in…  I’d like you to come virtual shopping with me!  I’ve taken a photo of each dress (below) and would love to know which one you think I should buy.  At the moment, my favorite is the fushia one (feel like I’m channeling Elle Woods!)…

Please vote below or leave a comment and tell me what you think!

Which dress should I buy?

  1. I am kinda in love with that printed one! I am already thinking of all the ways you might wear it and it could go from day to night super easy!
You look gorg in all of those colors though! And oh so tiny!! Beautiful!

  2. hello!
coming from the FtoF blog hop!!

my favourite is the fushia. I think is the most appropiate for work and the one that looks best with your figure. now, i’m in love of that green color. what about fushia cut but in turquoise green?=)

  3. The pink!

  4. All 3 dresses are great on you! I think for work, the fushia or green works best.

  5. i loved you included the none, you can do better option. i thought that was funny. definitely love the green one.

  6. I love the fushia one for work. I like the printed one also, but I might not feel comfortable wearing to work on it’s own…but that’s just me. I think it would look super cute, and totally work appropriate, with a jacket. So those would be my two pics :)

  7. I REALLY love the neckline and the shape of the green one!!!!!

  8. I love the green one – the shaping is really beautiful on you, and you could easily accentuate it with some bright accessories! that’s my vote, anyways :)

  9. Yowza! Can’t believe you found all three of those! It was a tie between the green and fuchsia one for me.

  10. What a cute post and a great idea! Isn’t it funny that when we aren’t looking we can come up with a zillion things to buy…but as soon as it gets specific there is nothing. Arghhh!

  11. Oh I love this!! Virtual shopping makes me feel good. Cause I feel like I’m getting something and I don’t have to spend anything! So THANK YOU!!! lol.

And I am in LOVE with the green one!!! Def in love with it.

    Happy Thursday!

  16. It’s a real toss up between the green and the fuschia, but I like the green one just a tiny bit better because of the neckline. =0)
Can’t wait to see which one you choose!

  17. Lauren,
If I HAD to pick only one, it would be the fuchsia one, but the green one is a very close second. I admire your will power, because I would have ended up with all three, lol!

  18. Love this idea and the green dress on you! So hard not to just buy more than one! Have a great weekend, and if you get a sec I’d love for you to stop by my blog!
