I hope you’re all having a wonderful week so far. It was my birthday yesterday and I had such a fabulous day, it was brilliant to spend time with those I love most and of course enjoy lot’s of delicious food. 

With turning another year older, I decided to make some healthier changes. In preparation for this (and an upcoming Christmas holiday!), about a month ago I started getting up a little earlier each day and doing a brisk walk/run for around 40 minutes before work. It’s been so nice having time to just think, listen to my iPod and clear my head. I’ve also tried to start eating a little better, I still adore my treats, but would like to balance it with more nutritious foods. 

When it comes to celebrity diets, I’m always fascinated and love to get the inside scoop on what they really eat. I came across a food diary from Kourtney Kardashian and thought I would share it with you. She looks glowing, fit and healthy – and importantly, I think it’s the kind of eating that’s actually do-able, rather than living on salad leaves!

DAY ONE
Breakfast: Steel-cut oatmeal with almond milk and honey (see Kourtney’s recipe here)
Snack:  Half a banana
Lunch: Chef salad without red meat, iced green tea, brown-rice chips
Snack:  QuickTrim Fast Shake
Dinner:  Sushi and miso soup (try this recipe)
Dessert:  Two Double Stuf Oreos and almond milk

DAY TWO
Breakfast:  Steel-cut oatmeal with almond milk and honey
Snack:  Greek yogurt (make your own with this healthy recipe)
Lunch:  Salad with grapefruit and shredded chicken, iced green tea (try this recipe)
Snack:  QuickTrim Fast Shake
Dinner:  Scrambled eggs and whole wheat lavash bread
Dessert:  A gingerbread cookie (bake this delicious recipe)

DAY THREE
Breakfast:  Steel-cut oatmeal with almond milk and honey
Snack:  QuickTrim Fast Shake
Lunch:  Scooped bagel and iced green tea
Snack:  Cottage cheese with sunflower seeds
Dinner:  Small filet mignon steak and half a sweet potato (try this recipe)
Dessert:  Two Double Stuf Oreos
