Happy Friday!! I hope you have all enjoyed a fabulous week – and now it’s time to look forward to the weekend! I have to say, it’s been a fun few days on here – I loved Style Sessions this week, there were so many gorgeous outfits! I certainly have some very stylish readers. Oh and if you adore beauty products like me, be sure to enter this giveaway from Karly Kim – she’s giving one Style Elixir reader the chance to win a $75 Sephora Gift Card! And… for all you fellow shopping lovers out there, these are my top picks in the J.Crew 25% off sale!
For this week’s edition of Friday’s Fab Favorites, I’m joined by the delightful Megan from Chasing Davies and Ana from Mrs. American Made. Megan and Ana are such sweet ladies and I know from our emails to organize this they are so excited to be meeting you all today! If you’re interested in co-hosting, just email me for details. I can’t wait to see what you link up! Remember… you can share anything and everything – a previous posts, or a post about your favorite things. It could be anything!
Today I’d love to share with you some pieces I am currently coveting! I think it’s easy when a new season comes to spend big – or be tempted to spend big – but you can get some amazing and very stylish items without breaking the bank. This week, I wanted to focus on affordable chic. I personally don’t spend hundreds and hundreds on items (unless they are truly key pieces I will have for years to come, like a leather jacket). Although I adore shopping and pretty, shiny new things, even more so I like living within my means. I often find inspiration through high-end designers, but then look for similar pieces from stores I know I can afford.
These are some pieces I think are stunning – and I ordered the leather skirt today! I’ve been looking for one just the right length for so long (often they are too short, which isn’t cute. Or they are too long and appear to swallow you). I thought this skirt was perfect, it’s so stylish and tailored – plus at under $145, I think it’s a really good buy for leather. Three years on, my hunt for the perfect leather pants still continues!
