Spring Style: Wedding Guest Attire + Win A $100 Gift Card!
Spring always marks the start of new things… flowers bloom, fab clothes arrive in store and of course, many a bride walks down the aisle! When I say ‘many a bride’, I truly mean many. Welcome to wedding season! Often receiving more wedding invitations than I own shoes (yes, that’s a lot!), it’s hard to keep up with fresh ideas on what to wear.
Inspired by the mounting invitations and the dwindling wardrobe options, I’ve collaborated with Joelle from A Charming Occasion, Elisabeth from Bella and Abbey from Along Abbey Road to bring you our take on the perfect Spring Wedding look! As you can see, we each created something quite different, yet all appropriate for such a special occasion. I hope you like this feature – I’d love to know your thoughts!
I selected a classic Black and White look with a hint of silver. Although this monochromatic look is currently a big season trend, I’ve actually had this dress for a few years and it’s definitely my go-to piece for special occasions. It was an ‘investment piece’ and I’m pleased to say, it’s been perfect time and again. I adore the stylish, classic design, but also love that it has a sleek, contemporary feel too. For a pop of color, I added the requisite YSL Rouge Pur Couture Lipstick and intricate earrings give a touch of sparkle.
Elisabeth, Joelle, Abbey and I would love to offer one lucky reader a $100 Gift Card to vintage clothing store Shabby Apple. They have a gorgeous collection of wedding guest appropriate pieces (plus also fab things to wear everyday! You don’t need to be going to a wedding just to get a cute new dress!). So for your chance to win, simply enter using the Rafflecopter below! Good luck!
