Welcome to Style Sessions! I’m excited because the postman’s been busy this last week… some of my new outfits have arrived! Is there anything more exciting than a parcel in the mail? Shopping online is double the fun – I love the thrill of the purchase, the suspense while it’s en-route and then the big arrival! Will it fit? Is it as gorgeous in real life? Luckily, the answer is usually always yes! Are you an online shopper too? What are your favorite things to buy?
If you’re new to Style Sessions, I believe we all have an inner Rachel Zoe and the opportunity to share this shouldn’t just be reserved for those who have a show on Bravo. Whether Vogue is your religion and WhoWhatWear your bible, or you’re just a girl who likes to be confident and feel good in how you dress, this link-up is for you! If you coerced your spouse into doing a fashion shoot, took a couple of ‘selfies’, or are on a budget and would like to create a ‘virtual outfit’, we’d love to see it!
Feature As Head Stylist! Each week, I will select one person to be featured as Head Stylist in the next Style Sessions. This is a fantastic opportunity to really showcase your style and your blog!
To join, I ask that you please follow my Style Elixir (via Bloglovin’, Email, Twitter, GFC or Facebook) and provide a link to this in your post or add the button to your blog. And the more we get the word out there, the more people will see your gorgeous outfit each week – so spread the news about Style Sessions and tweet!
The Polished Day Dress
Winter is such an easy time to look sophisticated – all those tailored coats, scarves and boots – it’s polished perfection! Come the spring or summer time, I believe it takes more thought to continue that same stylish approach in your wardrobe. Plus, with higher hemlines and more skin on show, how much is too much?
I love the bright colors and vibrant feel of so many summer styles, but sometimes you just want a classic, polished look and for that, I channel the French Riviera. All you need to do is add navy and gold for effortless glam, keep the length respectable and try to remember where you parked the yacht…
Meet Our Head Stylist…
I’m excited to introduce you to Brooke from What 2 Wear! One thing I adore about Brooke is her fearless approach to fashion! She’s daring and because of that, it seems like she has a lot of fun with her style…

Meghan is one seriously savvy stylista! Corporate Accountant by day, Blogger by night, this always chic twenty-something is fusing the two – bringing you fabulous fashion on a budget! Not your typical accountant (it’s ok I can say that, Chris is one too), Meghan is a super fun, down to earth, totally sweet lady… whose closet I seriously envy! We’re talking Polka Dot Chambray and the J.Crew Beaded Rose Necklace (I can’t quite put into words how much I wanted that stunning necklace) and forever stylish Nautical fashion (one of my all time favorite trends).
