For me, Spring Break usually always involves a beach and I’m wishing so badly I was on a beach right about now. Soon we will be! What are your plans for Spring Break? It’s also great having some tv shows my husband Chris and I can watch together, we’ve been loving The OA, You and Schitts Creek (this show is so funny!).

It’s also great being able to watch older tv series that when they were actually airing for whatever reason I never got into or missed a bunch of seasons and episodes. So, in recent months I have watched Pretty Little Liars and The Vampire Diaries from the very beginning. I loved having so many seasons of these to enjoy!

Stranger Things

If you haven’t seen Stranger Things yet, what have you been doing? This ultra popular show is completely addictive (my Mom even stayed up until 3am the night she started watching it after our recommendation, she just couldn’t stop!). I’ve heard season three will finally be released this year, it’s been a long wait. “When a young boy vanishes, a small town uncovers a mystery involving secret experiments, terrifying supernatural forces and one strange little girl”. Jane The Virgin

I didn’t watch this show for ages, as I wasn’t sure I’d like it… well, I LOVE it. The show completely hooks you in (I mean, just watch the trailer below…), the narrator is so funny and Rafael certainly isn’t bad eye candy. “After vowing to remain chaste until marriage, Jane Villanueva learns she’s pregnant due to a medical slip-up and has to rethink her future”. My husband and I totally binge watched this stalker thriller and I found it incredibly creepy! There are definitely some moments that make your skin crawl. The Good Place

I was a little apprehensive about watching this show, thinking it might have been a bit heavy… but wow, was I wrong! This is a fabulous show and such fun to watch. There’s a few seasons and I highly recommend this as a light, feel good show to enjoy. “Due to an error, self-absorbed Eleanor Shellstrop arrives at the Good Place after her death. Riverdale

The first season is probably my favorite so far, but each has an evolving mystery that really hooks you in! The series has been incredibly successful and with great characters and episodes, it keeps you coming back. “While navigating the troubled waters of sex, romance, school and family, teen Archie and his gang become entangled in a dark Riverdale mystery”. Queer Eye

They have done an amazing job on the remake of this show and casting! Every member chosen are amazing and the makeovers are pretty wonderful. Season three just came out and it’s their best yet – it totally made me cry watching some of the makeovers! Jonathan Van Ness is my fave, he’s so fun and fabulous. “Grab some tissues! Santa Clarita Diet

I wasn’t sure about this show at first, it’s a little crazy and wasn’t what I was expecting – but it’s fun and entertaining viewing that keeps me coming back season after season. “They’re ordinary husband and wife realtors until she undergoes a dramatic change that sends them down a road of death and destruction. The Vampire Diaries

I didn’t see many of the episodes when the show was actually running, but came across it on Netflix a few months ago and decided to watch it all the way through from the very beginning. I loved doing this! It’s so good when you get completely HOOKED on a show and have 8 seasons that you can binge watch! So for other fans, are you team Damon or Stefan? If anyone truly knows all things hair, it’s Hollywood’s top hair stylists! These are the hair miracle workers who constantly get the stars ready for the red carpet, so I turned to them for five fabulous tips on the best ways to care for your hair (as seen in this article).

5 Tips From Hollywood Hair Stylists:

Hair Care Tip One: Use a hair mask before working out. Typically people like using hair masks after they hit the gym, but it’s actually more beneficial to use one before.

Hair Care Tip Two: Don’t use shampoo super often. According to Reese Witherspoon’s stylist, “if you’re using shampoo every time you wash your hair, stop immediately. It dries it out and makes it less shiny”.

Hair Care Tip Three: Don’t use conditioner on your scalp. Your scalp actually has natural oils that help keep it hydrated, so you should only be applying conditioner beginning about four inches down from scalp.

Hair Care Tip Four: Use the right brushes. In a recent Glamour article they explained “different brushes are designed to provide different functions.” So do your research before you purchase your next brush to find out if it’s right for your hair type and the look you want to create.

Hair Care Tip Five: As often as you can, do your hair the night before. Beyonce’s stylist recommends doing “all the hard work the night before.” It can be a big time saver, too! This will help the frizz go down and give your hair a more natural effortless wave… so you really can say, “I woke up like this!”.

WET BRUSH:

This is for sure my favorite brush of all time! Don’t let the name fool you – it works great on wet or dry hair. My husband Chris and I are going on a three night cruise, which we’re really looking forward to! We absolutely love cruise holidays, it’s fabulous to wake up in a new place almost every day. Have you done a cruise before? Do you enjoy them too?

There are so many things I love about this heart sweater – a few of them being the ultra soft cashmere material, the cozy high neck and the gleaming buttons! This would pair perfectly with a cute pair of jeans and a feminine red flat.

RED MIDI SKIRT:

For under $40 this red midi skirt is a wardrobe staple, for sure! I love the midi length and elastic waistband, making it stylish, functional and comfortable all at once. Plus, a red skirt can be worn year-round… Valentine’s Day, Christmas, 4th of July etc.

NUDE TRANSPARENT PUMPS:

A super on-trend spin on the charming glass-slipper, the aesthetic of these nude transparent pumps are a must-have! Also available in black, silver and a gorgeous neon pink, they’re a versatile statement making shoe. I’m a huge fan of the nude, though – it will literally go with everything.
