Do you want to know something crazy? I haven’t colored my hair in almost three years. It all started because after years and years of coloring my hair, from super blonde when I was younger to a really dark brunette tone four years ago, I realized I didn’t actually know what my real hair color was anymore. So I set out on a mission to go au natural and let my color grow out. Now, given it’s been two months shy of three years, the color I have is entirely mine and the hair is in such great, untouched condition.
Lately though, I’ve had this urge to shake things up and am tempted to lighten my hair a little. But then the other part of me thinks, you’ve come so far and it’s taken three years to grow your color out… what’s a girl to do?
of course in preparation, I have been looking on Pinterest at some blonde hair color ideas and wanted to share my faves with you.
Have you ever set out on a mission with your hair? What was it? Have you grown your hair color out at some point? Did you start coloring again and if so, what made you decide to leap back in?

I love all of these looks! I have too much gray (yes gray) to stop coloring my hair; although, it would really be nice to stop. I’ve had some gray since middle school and started coloring my hair in my late 20’s. Fortunately, I’ve found a color that is really close to my natural red color. Reds are so hard to get right.
