I believe beautiful style starts with getting the basics right and glowing skin is paramount. One of my favorite beauty treatments is a weekly face mask and every second night doing a scrub. It’s perfect to give your skin an instant pick-me-up!
When it comes to products, over the years I’ve tried some duds, they promise the world and deliver… well, not much at all. I hate spending my hard-earned money on products that just don’t work and I’m sure you do too! So today, I wanted to share with you the best face masks and scrubs that really do make a difference. I found them through looking at Amazon’s best sellers, so I’m not alone in being obsessed with them…
The Best Face Masks: Algenist Algae Brightening Mask | Aztec Secret Clay Mask | Glam Glow Supermud Clearing Treatment
I’ve mentioned it before, but my absolute favorite is this Algae Brightening Mask. I work quite long hours and sometimes don’t get enough sleep, so it can really add up and make you feel anything but fabulous. If I want to brighten, smooth and get rid of blemishes, my go-to is this algae mask. You only need to put it on for ten minutes, but some nights I decide to sleep in it (haha yes – at times I need a real pick-me-up!) and it truly works wonders. If you want to see a real difference, really fast, I can’t recommend it enough.
The other one I’m obsessed with (and has almost 2,500 five-star reviews) is Aztec Secret clay mask. I don’t even know where to begin – it’s a deep pore cleansing treatment and has been dubbed “the world’s most powerful facial. This clay mask does incredible things to fix pimples and black heads, plus your skin feels tight (in a the best kind of way)… oh and it’s less than $10. Seriously amazing! I wore this every day in the lead up to my wedding (and so did my bridesmaids).
The last one is the Glam Glow Supermud Clearing Treatment Mask. This formula was clinically developed to help fix acne, blackheads, uneven skin tone, razor bumps and in-grown hair. The mud draws out dirt and congestion, while the six-acid blend brightens and softens skin. It also has Activated-X Charcoal, which leaves skin smooth and healthy-looking.
1. Algenist Multi-Perfecting Detoxifying Exfoliator
2. Murad Pore Reform Skin Smoothing Polish
3. Kate Somerville ExfoliKate Intensive Exfoliating Treatment (a cult beauty product known in Hollywood as the two-minute facial, it also repeatedly wins ‘beat beauty product’ awards)
4. Caudalie Deep Cleansing Exfoliator
Do you use a face mask or exfoliator scrub as part of your beauty routine? Let me know if you have a favorite (I love discovering new beauty products!).
