I have three fabulous things to share with you today… the biggest and best news is, I’m engaged! It happened on my birthday two weeks ago and we’ve just been enjoying this time ourselves before announcing it to everyone. We were away for the weekend on a family cruise my parents organised and as I was sitting on the balcony soaking in the views before breakfast, Chris gave me a gorgeous big present box. I suspected inside was a perfume I really wanted (it was, Rose 31 from Le Labo is amazing)… as I unwrapped the ribbon and opened the box, sitting on top was the stunning ring. As I was frozen in a little moment of surprise, Chris got down on one knee… and I said yes! It was a perfect moment for the two of us, followed by a beautiful breakfast with my Mum and Dad, Grandma and Aunt.

I’m also excited to share with you that we’ve set the date – Sunday 5th March 2017. We didn’t want to wait forever to get married, so just decided to plan it for three months away… and no, it’s not a shotgun wedding. Stay tuned for lots of fun wedding talk!
