I’m sharing one outfit, two ways … and of course it involves stripes! A classic blue and white stripe shirt exudes effortless style that’s perfect to wear any time of year. Best of all, it’s simple to pair a stripe shirt with almost any bottoms… think blue denim jeans, white jeans, colored jeans, black jeans, shorts and skirts. Basically, it’s the ultimate wardrobe staple and one every girl should own. My all time favorite jeans are these Paige Transcend Verdugo Ultra Skinny Jeans.

I am showing you how I styled my stripe shirt and black skinny jeans to create two different outfit vibes, simply swap the shoes and bag. It’s great for day to night dressing, or savvy double duty that’s budget friendly.

What makes this look distinctly different is the shoes. I love crisp white kicks and my White Converse Sneakers literally go with everything! I then changed up the look for a dressier vibe with these Kate Spade Glitter Heels. Want to know something special? I wore these glitter shoes on my wedding day. It’s so heart-warming to have something from that very special day that I can wear any time.

Another key to wearing one outfit two ways is changing the bag. I love this Rose Gold Tote Bag for day time, it adds the perfect touch of glam! Then for dressing up the outfit, a clutch bag is always a good idea. This leather French Connection clutch holds a special memory for me, I had it customized by a talented illustrator during a special New York Fashion Week event. It’s lovely to wear special pieces that hold wonderful memories!
