Welcome to Style Sessions! I just can’t believe today is the last day of 2013… where did the year go? It feels like I was watching fireworks and saying good bye to 2012 only yesterday, but here we are again! I hope the last year has brought everything you wished and that you have achieved all you’d hoped.
Do you have plans for this evening? I’d love to know how you celebrate! Chris and I will be enjoying dinner with our friends and my beautiful sister, Georgia. I’ve found it’s nice to have simple (but fabulous) plans with wonderful people… in previous years when I’ve made all these elaborate plans, NYE seems to be a bit of a let-down. So for me, it’s now all about amazing friends, delicious food and great champagne! I’m excited to introduce you to today’s Head Stylist, Elise from Hunters of Happiness! What a fashionista – I adore how she styled these gorgeous Hunter Boots…
STYLE Q&A WITH ELISE…
What is your go-to look? Â IÂ love layering! So, my go to look is currently a patterned tee, cardigan and scarf with a pair of jeans and my favorite boots.
Which fashion trend are you currently loving?  There are so many fashion trends that I am loving! My two favorites would have to be animal prints and leather. They are fun and edgy additions to my wardrobe!
What inspired you to start your blog?  I started my blog to document living abroad in London and then again after I got married. From there it evolved to what it is today.
Name three beauty products you couldn’t live without: Â Forever HD foundation, Bed Head curling wand and dry shampoo.
How would you describe your style?  Simple and classy. I love clothes and fashion, but I also love to keep things simple. I like to subtly include trends into my outfits while still keeping them comfortable and classy. When it comes to price, I’m all about quality.

I love the sheer blouse! My friends always make fun of me for wearing sheer-er tops, but I keep telling them it’s fine! Good to know someone else isn’t afraid to go sheer!

What a fabulous look, coincidently I also have a pink clutch on my new years post today 🙂 but I love how yours is embossed with your initials. I totally understand about making grand plans and being disappointed I think expectations can exceed reality at times, I will also be spending quiet time with family and will probably just go out to watch fire works at midnight.
