I love spring! It’s a gorgeous time of year and this Yumi Kim maxi dress has all the right style vibes. I am a huge fan of floral pieces that aren’t too feminine, a key to this is choosing darker colors – it keeps your look chic, sophisticated and “grown up” (sometimes I think floral can be too little girly if it’s too pink and “pretty”).
This is from a day in Soho, New York outside the Little Cupcake Bakeshop, it’s one of my favorite bakeries in the city and only a block from one of my best friends’ apartments (it’s a little too convenient – on girls nights in, we’ve often wound up both bringing cupcakes… and obviously, you just have to eat them all!)
